Through a series of group development
activities and cooperative games, this camp is designed to
help our young people get acclimated into the Boosters Outdoor
Education program. Youth will participate in a variety of
activities including rock climbing, swimming, hiking, team
building, nature explorations, visits to local museums,
camping and kayaking.
Our young people will develop many skills in
the process, for example, communication among peers and
adults, self-confidence and self-esteem, respect for others
and nature, group dynamics, and problem-solving, to name a
few.
